help with screen capture

howdy was wondering if anyonbe can help me with advice on how to screen capture when watchling live streaming? i want to be able to capture a frame (if that's what its called) of the live stream and make it into a jpg or bmp to use as a screen saver.. any response will be greatly received :-k

have 18 peeps just ignored my request or out of this 18 is it that noone is able to assist... one does wonder... (they dont call me lunchey the thread killer for nothing!)

Pause the action when you want to take a screen shot.
Press the "Print Scr" button on your keyboard.
Open up Paintship Pro, Photoshop, Fireworks or anything like that
Click on Edit and then Paste.
This should bring the pic onto that application as a new image.
Crop it as you deem necessary.
Click on "Save As" and choose .jpg, .bmp or whatever takes your fancey, some programs might require you to use the Export command instead.
Save it somewhere onto your hard drive.
VOILA.

Also some video playback software does have a button with a camera on it which allows you take still shots when viewing/pausing and saving them straight to your hard drive, I have one but dont use it though.

Download a program called snagit, it also works a treat for what you wish to do.

Sorry LC - just saw this.
I do it the way Wedgie doesn't... clicking on the button/key that captures from the current video playing and puts it in a file somewhere.
