Having a major problem with my USB 2.0 port
Brought the 4+1 port so i could use it for my ipod
it installed the drivers ok and is charging the ipod but is not recognising it?
I unistalled the ipod softweere and itunes and reinstalled but when it scans for the ipod to format it, it just cant find it. Ive tried everything but to no avail.

What was the issue duncs?
From reading the original description I would have thought the iPod wasn't getting enough power to it to actually function as a device on the PC (so it appeard to be charging and probably was but not enough power to recognise).

But - interested to know

(One problem could have been you bought a passive (unpowered) hub rather than an active (powered) hub.
