Converting vinyl to CD

Postby mick » Fri Jun 30, 2006 11:50 am

Hi All, A bloke I know wants to convert his extensive collection of vinyl LPs (remember these, big black flat things with a hole) to digital CD format. Has any one here done this? Any advice would be great :D

There's a program called RIPVINYL I think. My Dad has used it (and purchased it) to convert all his olf LPs to MP3/CD. Obviously you'd need a turntable, and RCA plugs (to 3.5mm jack) to plug in to the PC - but besides that it's relatively simple.
