The Division - PS4

Great so far. I've put about 8 hours into it since Tuesday, but am predicting a HUGE gaming weekend. Should be up around the 30 hour mark by Monday night.

Its "always online" so you always can jump in and out of co-op multiplayer in any mission you are doing. I found it very challenging when trying to do story missions alone, but still doable with a few attempts.

I've done two or three story missions in a "squad" and it is crazy. The fire fights are huge, and people actually work together in this game. I don't talk to strangers online, but it seems to work without any real communication anyway.

You can tell when someone in your squad is down, and help them when they're in need. The good thing is people actually do try to help you in this game. A lot of other games, you're together, but everyones playing for themselves.

People also seem to know some good combat strategies, like flanking, and drawing fire one way so someone else can hit them from behind ( ;) ;) )

I'll chuck some screenshots and videos up later tonight.

Pretty keen for the Far Harbor DLC for Fallout 4.

I only have side missions left in the normal game (settlements, etc) so having a full fledged story again will be good.

They havent really released any storyline details, but it looks like there will be lots to do. Hopefully, considering its $40.

Yeah I only picked it up the other day too. First time since the start of March when I got The Division.

I feel like the graphics are a bit better. Has there been an update in between then and now?

Nah you're pretty close to the end of the BOS campaign. It's the same way I went.

Once you can see the robot built, there's a few minor missions. I think the nuke ones the last one before actually attacking The Institute.

Finished off The Walking Dead Season 2 on the weekend, season 1 and 2 are very good games and were a great fix of more Walking Dead.

Got Uncharted 4 today (finally!) Its off to a pretty good start.

I got the Far Harbor DLC for Fallout over the weekend.

Very in depth storyline.

It took me about an hour just to make it to the point on the map to get on the boat to get to Far Harbor.

I also got the other two DLC's at the same time, so I switched between Far Harbor missions, and the Automatron ones where you get to build your own robot companions.

I got all three DLC's for about $45 which was cheaper than the season pass anyway. I doubt there'll be more add-ons in the near future besides the Survival Mode, but I think thats gonna be free.

Might have to buy it and give it a go. The season pass seems crazy st $80 given I only paid $50 for the game!

This is all "double dutch" to me.... I am just too old to get into it. My lad plays a fair few of them... COD etc, online with his mates. I tried once, the only bloke I shot was someone on my own team...FFS. Tried one of the golf games once, a Tiger Woods PGA one. Second time I played it I got a hole in one. Too easy, never played it again.

Yeah

Far Harbor $29.95
Automatron $14.95
Wasteland Workshop $7.55

Total - $52.45

The Season Pass is $75.95.

There'd want to be a shitload more content coming out for the people that got suckered into paying for it.

Play offline games with good stories. You'll get better and then maybe do alright online.

Im very average in online shooters, and prefer games like Fallout, that has an immersive story to get into.

I think I'd be pushing 100 hours on Fallout 4 alone, and there isn't even an online component.

Haha - I was playing offline, still bloody hopeless!

I don't seem to have the dexterity in my hands to operate those stupid little controller things.

I am a bit too old school.... if I want to shoot something, I'll break out the shotgun, or the rifle.... and fair dinkum shoot something!
