Another new site for Aussie Torrents; http://diwana.org/

Small, but growing, and carries only Aust/NZ stuff. Most of their stuff is supplied with links from http://aussietorrents.com (another useful resource).

Usegroups may be wonderful, but I know nothing about them, and at the moment I'm very satisfied with torrents, and don't wanna have to go through another learning curve with a new system/method/whatever.

wedgie: speed would be the same mate. i agree if your with a system and it's working then i wouldn't change. only reason i changed was because i am a security expert at my firm, and july of last year there was a MAJOR vulnribility found in the way torrents were executed on your computer, allowing any of the seeders to potentially (and easily i might add) gain control of the computer it is seeding too.

Luckily this was patched up by most leading torrent software venders by december...but i had already changed so cant go back now.

in saying that too, as a security expert i know that tommorow there could be a similar vulnribility found in newsgroups/newsgroups software! so really all we can try and do is do our best!

Ive just been made a power user for torrentleech.org which I rate as the best bit torrent site and have 6 invites up my sleeve so let me know if you're interested. Has TV shows, movies, PS2 , X Box games, PC Utilities, music, basically everything, I get speeds of up to 600kb/s most times from this site but you do have to keep your share ratio up and I need your assurance you will before I give you an invite.

Can you explain all this talk to me in really dumbed-down English? (ie so even Sheik Yerbouti would understand...)

Your share ratio is your committment that you give as much as you receive. If you download, you must upload in similar doses or else you get kicked. I'm interested :)

Would love an invite to that one wedgie, if you have any left. Always do my bit to keep my share ratio higher than 1.

And make sure you look after your share ratio otherwise it might affect my account.
