Punky (and others), Ive been useing IE to explore the web a bit this week due to an issue I've had with firefox since a virus hit my PC (all fixed now, thank christ) and I can tell you Firefox is miles faster at putting most pages together.
I now have ADSL2 so the speed coming down the line isn't an issue and its very noticable with the difference.

Give Opera a trial - it may not be quite as fast loading pages as Firefox but it is pretty slick, and it is even more secure against malware. The integrated email progamme is good too - very easy to set up folders ["filters"] to save emails you want on record, and contacts handling is better than Thunderbird. It includes the capacity to save usernames and paswords under a master password for similarly to the Mozilla products.

To enable, go to the "Post Reply" page or similar/right click/Languages and tick English/Australian.
Away ya go!
