Here's a link to the direct review for it in steves-digicams, seems a pretty good report, I think with Nikon you couldn't go too wrong, a great name in cameras.

Just remember with SLRs the possible extra cost with Zooms, etc as they can sometime cost more than the cameras!

Brilliant Camera. I don't have one - I have an Olympus E10 which is a few years old, but I bought it from a good friend who upgraded to the D70.

Mind you he's a brilliant photographer - BUT I have seen it used by various people in verious conditions and it is great. He took photos at my Engagement Party Saturday night, and they came out brilliantly.

Steve, you might find this site useful when looking at the specs for the D70s (http://www.photo.net/equipment/nikon/d70)

And for most things digital I always refer to (http://www.dpreview.com) for all things digital.
