Anyone play this?
Downloaded the trial version for my son yesterday which runs out after 10 days, he's loving it, Ive tried it, impressed by the size of it but its so bloody slow and huge!
Anyone know the cost and does it get better the higher you're ranked?

$40 approx to buy, then $40 every 2 months to play, Zac wants it, I don't want him spending $20 a month to play................so far I'm winning

Wedgie this is a superb site if you're looking for online games, myself and various mates use it a fair bit if we're looking for something new to play.
The 'Game List' section gives loads of detail including ALL the costs or whether it really is 'free', ratings, genres and links to each game for screenshots etc. Great if you want a specific type of game such as historical or sci-fi or fantasy and you can easily see the kind of age group that a game is suitable for.

Thanks for the link JAS, hopefully now Zac will leave us aqlone re: World of warcraft
Wedgie, Zac says that the free download trial is slow, the 14 day ($2 disc) trial is a lot quicker, and the actual game is quicker again, he's got 3 or 4 mates that play it...........more money than sense IMO

Not if you have ADSL2 and a decent PC. Couldn't be any quicker than it is, uninterrupted continuous no problems and we've had it going quite a bit for the last 3 days.
Also gave it a try on the laptop but that was carp.

God I miss WOW.
My mate had it on his computer and I had a coupla characters on there, but he moved away to WA.
Would love to get back into it but boy is that game time consuming and addictive.

Well Im officially a geek now, if I wasn't before.
Bought the game and the expansion pack, installing it as we speak!
Got a Rogue Troll up to Level 18 in the 10 days of the trial but will probably start again with a Night Elf as I have a couple of mates in an Allieance guild.
