Couple quick questions

How do I set Windows Media Player back to being my default media player?

On Word, the top and bottom margins of any new documents I create have disappeared. Even when I set it back to 'default' margins, or try to change the settings or move the margins, nothing happens. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks.

Open Windows Media Player, goto Tools and then Options (I do it by right click at the top of the program)
Then click on the File Types tab and it'll give you the option to select or deselect file types that Windows Player will automatically play for you.

Another way to do it which is handy to know if you want to do similar with any program (ie make Paintshop your default program for opening JPGs) is:
Got to your Control Panel, then Folder Options.
Click on the File Types tab and then find the various sort of media you play (ie mp3, wma). Click on one of them and it'll give you the option to change what that program automatically opens using.

On my version its just a matter of putting the cursor on the border between the light blue and white in the ruler that goes up and down the left side and dragging, that allows me to resize the upper and lower margin or get rid of it.

Thanks, fixed the media player issue.

With Word, that's normally how I change it but very annoyingly it's not letting me do that anymore. When I do Print Preview it has the margins, but not when I'm working on the document. :?

So you still have the rulers down the side with the part that can be moved or have they disappeared?

They have disappeared. I still have the ones at the top and bottom that change the left and right margins. I tried to save an image of it to show what it looks like but my computer isn't letting me do that either.

My guess... You have "hidden white spaces" enabled.

If you are using word 2007, double click the line at the very top or bottom of a page. Any other version of word it is a single click.

That's it, thanks!
