I am looking to buy a data projector for a club I'm a member of. It is likely to be used for perhaps 4/5 times a year in venues that would hold a maximum of 50 or so people. I have a budget of around $2,000 although I would like to spend as little as possible :D I guess what I am looking for is an adequate machine, it doesn't need all the bells and whistles of home theatre. I would be greatful for any advice :D

my footy club needed one after our last one got stolen. we went down to a place that hires them out and asked if they had any one ones for sale, its pretty old and chunkey, but the globe life is good (make sure if you buy 2nd hand you check how many hours the globe has left, as they cost allot to replace) and for $400 bucks we have a good buy

I now work at Radio Rentals in Prospect, I might have something to fit into your budget.

I think you can even claim it back on tax if its for your club.
