FIFA v PES

Postby mickey » Sun May 08, 2011 11:14 pm

Started with FIFA 96 on Playstation 1 and was a FIFA person until i got my xbox360 last year.
Got FIFA 09 but wasnt really happy with the way the game played etc, so i forked out for a pre owned copy of PES9 and was blown away with how good it was.

Now its time to splash out on an new edition of the soccer genre and have been told FIFA 11 is the bomb..

Just wondering if PES has kept up ??

I think Fifa11 is the best ever soccer game.

Usually each incarnation was slightly better than the previous, but Fifa11 blew Fifa10 out of the water.

i'm not guna vote, coz i havnt played a PES since late 90's/early 00's i rekon.

but i do love love FIFA, and would take an almighty reveiw to make me swap over. having said that though, i was always NBA LIVE, since about 2000ish, but switched to 2k10, and probably wont go back to LIVE.

Just finished my first season with Notts County in the Championship League 1. Finished 3rd and got them promoted. Planned on taking them all the way up to the Premier League, seeing as they're Magpies. Then something new happened that i thought should happen between seasons. I got offered a job by another club.

The last few Fifas have annoyed me a bit because you can just move to any club you want between seasons. I thought there should be a more realistic experience of what a real life Manager has to face.

Anyway, Leeds United offered me a job in the Championship, and i took it.

up untill fifa 11 pes had the better game play and made u feel more like u where actually playing. Fifa was easier to appeal to more people but fifa 11 they step it right up and was better than pes.

However still a pes man, just like still a championship manager man over football manager
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

I haven't got a FIFA since 08. What's lounge mode?

It's taken me a while to get used to the controls and I started my season with Adelaide with no wins from the first 8 games.
However, I'm in the top 6 on GD at the moment, with about 6 games left.
Hoping to sneak into top two for the Asian Champions League.
