Galaxy Note

Postby prowling panther » Tue Sep 04, 2012 9:01 pm

Does anyone own a Galaxy Note, either the current one or the new one which is about to be released soon. :D

I am seriously looking at one when my current contract runs out shortly.

1. Does the size of them bother you

2. Are they as good as they are made out to be

3. Are they worth getting .

Thanks.

I looked at one PP and got told that the processing unit in it is only half as powerful as the new Galaxy 3. I had the Galaxy 1 and it was SLLLOOOOWWWWW as. It's up to you, but I'd be looking elsewhere unless speed isn't an issue for you.

Personally, I'd buy either a phone or a tablet to do a job it was designed for. A hybrid is bound to do everything 'ok' at best.

The S3 isn't that huge... slightly bigger than the HTC desire HD that I upgraded from but much lighter. And much better to use!

I've been looking at the Galaxy Y Duos trying to decide whether it is too big for my pockets.
• Size:60 x 109.8 x 12 mm
• Weight:109 g

Got my Note 2 the other day.

I somehow dont think I will live long enough to be able to drive all its features.

And I intent to live long enough to see the Panthers win another premiership.

So how is it PP? I'm in need of an upgrade on my Nexus (although I love it) and I'm still thinking of the Note.

I am really happy with the Note 2, it is a bit big in the hand, but I found it is really easy to navigate on the keyboard and icons, the 'S' pen is a handy thing to play with, although I think I have tired of it already, its other draw back is that its a bit too much bulky in the pocket, the best feature of it was when i brought a Lime Green cover for it, now I can find it where ever i mislaid it.

That's good to hear PP. On a side note, I put a lime green cover on my ipod touch and haven't had any trouble finding it until I handed it to my 3 yo son. He took the cover off and now the ipod is missing.

Back to topic - the Note 2 is now up against getting an iphone (as a replacement for the ipod touch).
