What a truly remarkable piece of technology.

Went to hospital for a 3 week stay.

Sneeked out to a cashies a couple of weeks ago and got 0ne for $35.

Plugged in a Vodafone sim from an internet starter pack from the goodguys@geppsx $19 with 3gig download.

I have trouble free internet anywhere.

Worth putting one in your pocket fellas. :D

Everyone I know who has/had the Vodafone pocket wifi has had massive problems with it, it's shit. The coverage and speed is has been shithouse, same with the Vodafone USB modem. You might of got lucky with yours there Dog_ger if it's as good as you say, I'm surprised.

It obviously depends where you are in relation to the towers.
My Vodafone SIM for my mobile phone is OK in the city and suburbs, but patchy in the hills.

It was useless when I was in Bunbury, but then even my Telstra 4G USB Internet gizmo was patchy there.
(But worked beautifully at Busselton and Bridgetown - both further south of Perth.)

Sorry mate, my ipad has no usb. :D

That's the reason I tried pocket wifi. ;)

And can recommend it.

When I am away from home, like in a hospital, I can have my laptop and my ipad online at the same time. :D

Which I did.

Through Vodafone which everyone complains about, including me.

But had no problems of late.

I'm on the vodephone pocket wifi too.
Agreed, not great for downloading movies or tv at high speeds, however for general internet surfing and emails, etc, it does the job.

You don't handle your drink as good as most.

The terminology "Glenside" could be classed as a legal classification.

But I don't want your coke cans, or hub caps, Centurion.

My safooty friend.

I have never abused you. Winker:D
