Laptop Problem

Postby stan » Sat Nov 30, 2013 9:36 pm

Hi all I have an issue with my ASUS. I did a new install of XP and seem to have lost the camera and the wifi. Any ideas? Is it just a simple task of getting the asus drivers for each device?

Probably.
Laptops are usually geared to being restored with a proprietry restore disc that usually comes in the pack and includes the needed drivers.
If you install an OS from a straight OS disk you need to have all the drivers on another disc or USB stick.

If you can identify the devices from the manual you should be able to search the ASUS downloads site for them.
I think the site also allows you to search by laptop model.
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!
