Never heard of them.

Seems to be a few threads at whirlpool about them, usually a decent place to browse for that type of info

I've finally bitten the bullet and decided I needed more than the 10GB per month plan I'd had with Internode since January 2009 as I have been going over the 10GB lately. I stuck with Internode but went to a Naked 150GB Plan and kept my VoIP service - total cost $64.95 per month, $5 more than I was paying before.

This is my first month and I've used 22GB already.

Part of the deal was a free new modem if I signed up for 2 years, but the free modem was not VoIP compatible. So they gave me the $120 value off a new NBN and ADSL 2+ compatible FritzBox. Speeds are up from my previous 5.8 mbps tp 8 mbps which is not bad 4.8 Km from the exchange.

As part of the plan to lose my land line, which I wasn't using anyway, I've upgraded my mobile service to the Optus $30 per month 4G SIM only plan:
http://www.optus.com.au/shop/mobilephones/SimBYO

Now I'm shopping for a 4G phone that will still fit in a shirt pocket and not require me to carry a hand bag...

If you leave your number with Adam for a callback, be prepared to be woken up at 1:40am Sunday morning. Twice.

Need a new ISP for a residence in Allenby Gardens , moving in Friday next week. Any suggestions?
Been out of the loop for a while, prefer Naked.
What sort of wait times for installation these days?

Allenby Gardens!? Good luck with getting a line there. There's a few Adam Wimax' around there if you want to look into that

Adam had ours in within about a week and a half. That was with an external line installation because the house didn't have one for some reason.

We have Naked DSL. Being less than a K from the exchange, we get peak speeds of about 12Mbps. Usually sits around 9 though.

We stream Netflix and Stan in HD on more than one device at a time with no buffering or quality drops.

Their customer service wait times have gone to shit since being bought by iiNet though.

I looked into that as some great value packages but read very poor reviews on the internet speed especially at peak times.

Where I'm moving to has a phone line so it will be ADSL2+, there's a sub node nearby.
Pity Opt us is so shit as I'd be tempted to go wth them as they'll have the EPL next season.
Rang up Internode, crazy expensive.

You would be one of the lucky ones then. Telstra won't upgrade the Rim in Allenby Gardens so a lot of people miss out on it

PS:
Internode have just upgraded my Easy 150GB to 200GB for the same fee.
Time to move my girlfriend's wifi connectible smart TV in I think.

I found a phone that fitted my pocket and my pocketbook - HTC Desire 520.

Ended up just transferring the girlfriends Iprimus as she was still under contract. Must say I'm impressed, it was up and running the day we moved in and I get less lag playing games on this ADSL than I did on Optus NBN at Prospect! No probs streaming on multiple devices, never expected anything this good! All for $59.95 pm for unlimited, would be $79.95 for new customers though.

Hi guys, looking for some advice.
Our current plan with Adam/iiNet is due to finish soon and I'm looking to go elsewhere for my internet needs.
We are on WiMAX at the moment because we don't have and lines to the pole, Nbn is unavailable to us at the moment.
We are trying to avoid any major installation and setup fees, but if we can get a service that is reliable and doesn't drop out, then I guess I'd be willing to pay.

We also have Foxtel and were thinking of bundling the Internet up with them. Anyone had any experience with them?

if anyone has any better advice I'm happy to hear it.
