Wedgie, what r the grading systems things such as rookie,U17,U19 etc. Just noticed them.

Howdy mate, mapgie in the 80s is right, its something Dissident added to the forum yesterday for a bit of fun, just a trial.

You get a rating depending on how many posts you've made as per as follows:

Mini-League 0
Member 50
Rookie 100
Under 17s 250
Under 19s 500
Reserves 750
League Bench Warmer 1000
League - Best 22 1500
League - Top 5 2500
Veteran 3500
Assistant Coach 4000
Coach 5000

Moderators and Site Admin are unaffected, I would have been an Assistant Coach but my ranking stays permantly as "Site Admin".
Im interested in people's opinions on it, there's already a discussion on it started by Falcon Chick in the General Discussion Board.
I think its a bit of fun but some people may feel intimidated by it perhaps?

Intimidated? Its a marker of the amount of posts someone has done. If someones intimidated by it, theres something wrong with them.

Yeah I agree and another argument was that people would just make inane posts to up their rank but we wouldn't allow that here.

If anything I'm intimidated by the amount of posts I've made in that it shows I have no life where most people do!
