if you are referring to millicent & darren dean, deany was the coach at the burr last year, who won the flag, not robe

I read it that he was saying that the team the ex-Robe coach is playing for finished minor Premiers.
Also heard that Robe have already re-appointed this years coach - an interesting move considering where they finished on the ladder etc. and who could be out there that may want to live near the sea...

ah yes i see

Was fortunate enough to attend this grand final at Glencoe and there was a magnificent crowd in attendence.
Mt Burr seemed determined to rough the Bay up early and while it didn't work, the Bay didn't kick straight and that cost them later on.
No one could accuse the umpires of being whistle happy as a player just about needed his head ripped off to get a free kick but they were more than happy to annoyingly keep blowing whistles time after time because a player was half a centimetre over the mark or to WARN someone. This annoys me at every level, only blow the whistle if you're going to pay a free FGS!!!!!

Great effort by the Bay to come from last last year to go within a whisker of taking it out.

All you Glenelg supporters in the future can look forward to seeing Port Mac's Jordan and Brodie Murdoch - the sons of former Norwood player Roger Murdoch - playing for you.

Just like to mention Johnathon McBain who is having a good year in the colts for Port MacDonnell and has got in best on occasions in the A's.

Don't normally do this sort of thing but to any SANFL clubs who have scouts down in that part of the world, I believe he'd be worth checking out. Glenelg (his zone) are of the opinion that he's too small but even though he is only 172 cm, he has jumped 1.90m for the high jump before so he does have some athleticism.
He turns 18 later in the year and does have some sort of bloodline as his grandfather's first cousin (also a McBain) was the captain of Port Magpies at one stage back in the '60's.

Has big Phil Smith left Robe for one of the Whyalla clubs? He was a mighty player in the KNTFL. Is he still going strong these days or have age and injuries caught up with him?

Tim Stringer and Tantanoola dominating so far this season.

Port Mac appear to be their main opposition.

Would have been a few happy people down in this league to see Jordan Murdoch make his debut for Geelong against Port Adelaide a fortnight ago.

Saw him in the colts for the Bay in 2010 and while it was obvious he was going to be a quality player, I didn't think it was going to happen this quickly. No doubt his brother is probably going to be drafted at the end of this season as well.

The Bays flogged the Burr by 62 pts all the damage done in the premiership quarter. The Burr looked ok until then.. watch out for young Bromley will go well in town next year. It was a bloody good quality game for MSE

I see Hatherleigh are going along nicely. Is Matt Faulkner still coaching them?
