The form behind Wall Street stacks up very well overall. The last start win in the Kit Ormond Spring Classic over 2040m (formerly known as the Kelt Capital Stakes) was very impressive, leading all the way and carrying 59kg. Drawn just outside So You Think, it would seem reasonable that Wall Street will push forward and could set up a very interesting battle with SYT.

May pay to ignore the Doncaster failure, it was reported that he wasn't at all happy going in that direction. Worked extremely well at Breakfast With The Stars today, with a number of experienced watchers saying it was a very solid display.

Hence I like THE HOMBRE in the Geelong Cup tomorrow. THE HOMBRE ran 5th (second run back from a spell) to Wall Street 2.6L in the Spring Classic and drops 4.5kgs on that run. First up, ran 1400m, then 2040.

Going against it, a fair bit! Step up in distance is significant as it's only had 1 run at the distance for no place, this is its first run back in Australia and 3 of it's 4 wins have been 1st or 2nd up.

Still worth putting in multiples I reckon.

Tomorrow in the Geelong Cup I like...

Americain - Tough to follow the form lines of these overseas horses but last start beat Manighar whose run on the weekend was impressive. Watched the last race too and was impressive run.
Exceptionally - Missed out by a head to Harris Tweed after racing down outside at last start. and Harris Tweeds formline reads well after the Cup.
No Wine No Song - Solid runs last few starts in 2400m races, The Metropolitan (3rd) and winning a group 3 race before. Tough barrier draw but could run a race at Odds

Might box these up for the tri with 3rd place including Moudre, Miles Above, The Hombre, Once Were Wild

I like Moudre for the win and Moudre, Americain and The Drunken Saloir tri fecta.

after the last couple of weekends of racing tho, there will be a roughy get up every race.

PERCY THE PLACE PUNTER
CANTERBURY
R3-1 FUTURE SOLUTION
Cant see it missing a place
Suggest if we get $1-50 + a place then have a bet
If not those odds, then use it as a banker in the exotics

PERCYS 2010 P/L $1 per bet
-$1-00
