Rumour in the Northern Argus that Sollies have signed Horner and Baker from Broughton-Mundoora, very god signings if correct.

Baker has re-signed with Broughton.

I am under the impression that April 30th will be kick off.
I also believe that the Byes in Round 1,2 & 3 are not happening this season.

If all correct, this was the Round 1 games:
Central vs West
Port vs Sollies
South vs Lions (Sunday)

But I haven't heard whether this is 100% confirmed.

Well I believe it's late. But, for some stupid unknown reason our 6 team league plays 17 games.
2006 We had a 7 team comp. 21 rounds, 3 Byes 18 games.
I just assumed that with the loss of Wolves, 20 rounds play each other 4 times.

Our league adopted a system where 2 of the 3 Port Augusta and 2 of the 3 Port Pirie teams would play each other in the first 3 rounds. Therefore giving everyone a Bye in the first 3 rounds.
Now we have dropped said Byes and still play 17 games. 8-}

That's an unbelievable draw to work out with 6 sides? Can they fix it before Round 1?

How did Joel Frog'e go with Sollies last year?

Nah FW, there is no plans to fix it. Why? :-??

Not sure if Joel ever played, his name doesn't ring a bell.

Barrett will do well in the Port Augusta league, handy backman who rebounds out of defence well. Played a fair bit of b grade last few years at Birdwood mainly due to falling out with the coach and some time constraints for training etc. Should play A Grade in Port Augusta.

Matt Woolword likely to play for Centrals is the word I have received, if he can talk his way out of playing at home.

Delorenzo at this stage isn't playing due to work.
Thistleton has decided to stay in Ceduna.

I have huge wraps on Lachlan Barrett, has fit in very well at training and has brang with him some great leadership qualities, that will help me through out the year.

Woolford's name was hot for a while there, but I was under the impression he would stay at home. Would be a great inclusion for Centrals to go along side Quigley and a great in for the competition.........If it eventuates

Matt Turner has gone back to Sollies and Ports have added Orroroo's Tim Byerlee to their list. The Byerlee kid can play a bit so he will stir them all up at the Squids no worries
