I think Uern will win, plays through the midfield, kicks goals when up forward, and has got the boot that breaks lines. Got the standout look about him. I think Cahill deserves to win, but can't see forwards or defenders as well as midfielders.

Dimasi to poll the most for Salisbury. Noyce a smokey in the B Grade.

3 way tie - Wooton (Hec), Cahill (Sco) and someone from Kilburn who's name escapes me (apologies)

Yeah yet didn't get Best for thier club in player of the year votes from the club, but Cahill did get 5 goals in the last game.
I'm not saying the players don’t deserve the votes in any way Im sure they did.
It's just Funny how the umpires see it diffrent to everyone else watching sometimes.
Yet watching some votes tonight in the lower grades how players get a best on ground and the team dont even score at all has real got me confused.
Last game Votes Round 18 player of the year.
Kilburn Votes
1 Urbancic, Vince
2 Truscott, Shaun
3 Wielechowski, Ryan
4 Menner, David
5 Pressler, Corey

Scotch Oc votes
1 Langford, John
2 Twopeny, Hugo
3 Veale, Jonathon
4 Box, Matthew
5 Cahill, Daniel

Can understand why these guys all polled well- Cahill the flashy type who kicks goals and the others all earn the hard ball for their side week in week out.

Funny thing about Pauly Wootton is that he played underdone, overweight and nowhere near his best this year. If he was serious about his footy, it would be scary to see how much he would dominate at this level.
As HB3 said, Paul seems to collect medals for fun. Now has an U17, D6 and D4 medal, as well as coming second in D5 last year.

How will he go in your best & fairest MP? I thought Pemble was the one who looked at his best this year.

Wootton carved us up first time Pag. Talking to the coach after the game the second time round and he said he was playing with a slight injury, so nowhere near the same, but first time round he dominated.

Tough again to select winners this weekend. Salisbury v Scotch an absolute cracking game, for Scotch to win they must put real man on man pressure on the Salisbury ball carrier at all times. I think Salisbury will win just because its a home game. If Scotch get Ollie, Smith and Thorpe back dont be surprised to see them get the confectionary. Salisbury 17 points. The other game is equally as hard I am going for Greenies purely as in the combined 4 games we played against both clubs they touched us up in one. Wright must play forward to create headaches for Kilburns backline which is there weakest part. Kilburns fast forward line will cause Greenies alot of trouble so its the midfield where this game should be won. greenies by 4 goals. Good luck all

I'd be very surprised if Wootton doesn't win our B & F, as I said he's had better years, but should win.
Pemble will probably win our Best 1st year player award, but being a permanent small forward doubt he'll poll very well in the B & F.

A couple more wins and Greenshields would've won it easily.

Does Matty wear his silks to games?

Had some good, and occasionally scary, nights on the town with Matt when I was younger.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.
