Seeing M. Miller running from one end to the other picking up touches wasnt helping the Demons cause,
Miuch as I hate to say it he was pretty good.
Did you notice though that every time a Wayback player was on the ground
there was either a knee or a boot that made contact accidently very well practiced
especially Miller and Miller.
What was everyones thoughts on the umpiring?

Firstly Keatley is a great player there is no disputing that. The Waybacks game plan was to play one on one football and create contests all day. if one or two individuals, when the game opened up, didnt stick to it then the loose man would be created and that is suicide and in the end cost them the game in my opinion.
Man on man means going with Wes Bilney in the backlines where he set things up. Have a look at the tape.

Absolutely spot on CU. And if you looked at the tape you would have noticed that Wes was moved to half back at quarter time and stayed there for most of the game.
Most of their run and loose players was generated from their defensive zone.

Thought Mallee Park were lucky to be in the game at qtr time. Waybacks could have killed them off. For marks to Mallee park on the come back and the win. We were there on a footy trip. yes we got a bit vocal and it was good fun. Even caught up with the mallee park boys for a beers on the sunday. They all thought our outfits were good. Standard of the game was good. tough at it with both sides very commited and discipline was good.

Well wasn't that topic a conversation killer...

I hear that Rangers are well advanced with their discussions with an Adelaide based coach.
Comes highly credentialled apparently and the acceptnce is hinging on employment which is all but done.
May also bring some talent with him.
Zoomer to take an active footy dept. role on committee.

fwiw I believe that Horgan will go around again, and hoping that the club will announce this tomorrow night.
With the roosters already comitted to Carl and Brett W a short priced fav. for the Tigers then that only leaves the Eagles waiting for a dance.
With smiley chalmers getting LM, would that be the incentive for him to take the top role on??
