On a separate note, how good was Norwich on the weekend?

Threw caution to the wind and played some exciting football.

Very impressive.

Rodwell has had his red card quashed after a tribunal and appeal by Everton. He will not serve any ban and the red card was dismissed completely

If ever there was a case for action replays this was it

When that happens the ref should now cop the ban.
Disgraceful decision by ref and i bet he goes unpunished

Suspect you are right Jim and even if he gets disciplined (as such) then it usually means he would be demoted to the lower leagues for a while which means we end up with him and EPL refs in the lower leagues are a disaster

I have seen a few EPL refs in the lower leagues and they are terrible. Would rather see them suspended

There's a completely different interpretation of the rules outside the EPL and most regular EPL refs don't understand this, hence they generally **** up. Unfortunately too many of them think we are there to watch them and not our team

like i said the ref sees it at game speed, and seeing it at game speed its not hard to think his decision....we all give the refs a bit and yes things do get missed etc, but you cant keep everyone happy and im sure if we or us were in htere shoes and them it ours we would cop it also

Understand that Bully but in this case someone sat in the stands at Anfield could have seen that tackle was never a red card.

Interesting stat, courtesy of the Sunday Times:

Statistics are based on total spending by last seasons's top 10 clubs and show how much each point cost from the time each club was brought until the end of the 2010-11 campaign

Club - PPP - Points - Purchase Date
Everton - £48,192.77 - 415 - 2004
Tottenham - £303,191.49 - 564 - 2001
Fulham - £456,195.65 - 490 - 1997
Aston Villa - £988,235.29 - 289 - 2006
Chelsea - £1,406,617.65 - 680 - 2003
Man United - £1,510,516.25 - 523 - 2005
Arsenal - £2,453,020.13 - 298 - 2007
Sunderland - £2,257,526.88 - 93 - 2009
Man City - £5,335,106.38 - 188 - 2008
Liverpool - £7,525,423.73 - 59 - 2010

PPP=Price Per Point

LOL @ Liverpool!

 @ Sunderland. What a waste of money!

Anyone know any good sites for EPL injuries?

Or conversely, does anyone think or know whether Aguero or Adebayor will play this weekend?
