Tasmans $1.80
Peckers $2.20
Demons $4
Marble Range $12
Bostons $101
Liuncoln South $101

Anyone heard a rumour about MPFC's next coach being someone from outside the 'family'

How do I get on board the Demon train OL?

He goes good mate, one of the better small forwards/midfielders in the league (had he played in a better side he could have been a lot more damaging up forward)
He played most of his footy last year in our midfield where he has no issue getting his head down or hands dirty.
Be a handy pickup for any side imo

I have not been approached to coach at the MPFC this year, next year or any year. I have not approached the MPFC to coach this year, next year or any year. This is an unconditional statement.

Heard Snapper put his name forward...

Ben Nelson is coaching scotch. Apparently wanganeen is having a year away from footy to concentrate on his new personal training business

Yes you are right my bad...... he was coaching Scotch. Now focusing on his PT business, after getting Terry Milera up to speed for AFL I wonder if he has any more clients in a similar situation.....

Interesting appointments, Beare a proven premiership coach if not a little unorthodox should do well.
Mantle will have his work cut out with coaching arguably the most difficult grade in country footy. Has coached at junior level, but like most Boston junior coaches with minimal success(due to lack of talent).
Watho will do his bit, but the whole mindset of the Bostons senior playing group has to change if they are to have any success. Striving for a consistency between their performances would be high on the agenda you'd think.

Bloody quiet week on here.

I know, going all out to try and create some conversation!

I suppose if Snapper's going to coach A Grade in 2012, he's hoping Mallee's give him the nod...

Another good year on the land might see a few country clubs with dollars to attract
some new blood or entice a few back home :)

Yeah pretty spot on there mate, When you think about from 1997 onwards its been pretty much just MP MR W taking the cake with the exception of Souths in 02. Not very good value for the recent efforts of LS in 01-04, 09-10. Tasmans in 10/11, and somewhat of a challenge from Bostons in 07/08.
Times change though, speaking to an older bloke by the name of Jack Morgan yesterday, apparently 20 years ago Marble Range were in a similar position where Bostons are today.

20 years ago, let's make it 1992. My first ever A grade game and within twenty seconds of the first bounce I had my first kick, a goal. we were up and I was on top of the world. Souths then went on to kick 43 goals to our 10 and created the still current highest score in Lincoln footy. Jackamarra kicked 18 and Mick Torrans 11. Remember it far too well. Bostons still won the spoon that year though.
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....
