For CLG to significantly improve as a football club they need to find some sort of consistent place to recruit from. It does seem as if there juniors are turning the corner some what, but they are a long way from senior football.
I would hope the Jets are not facing CLG in the next few years. CLG may have an ave age of 22, but we only have 3 blokes over 22 in our A grade, and with the foundations we have been building as a club I would hope to see us go up not down. But I'm glad we don't have Sunday morn sessions at the Jets, not sure how well that would go down!
Fwiw Ingle Farm had a Sunday regroup/recovery session last week after a pretty ordinary Saturday, came out and won by nearly 10 goals this week. 90% turned up, the others played B's this week, good way to find out who is serious. Just my opinion but i thought it worked well, and each coach will have his own opinion on things like that. If the Unley coach called a Sunday morning training, would you be there Jetters?????[/quote]
I would certainly be there. However, depending on the reason for calling it, I may question to myself whether it's an effective way of achieving the desired outcome.
