Congratulations to Tasmans on Saturday who produced one of the best first round performances seen in the PLFL. Given that not one Waybacks player won their position on the weekend Muzza would be justified picking 15+ Tasman players to play Mortlock. Each one of the Wayback players in contention for Mortlock selection was humbled by their immediate opponent, generally by more than one as the team was thrown around to no avail. We witnessed an exceptional team of individuals who performed the team things (tackling, pressure, talk etc) and were also impeccably well drilled in areas such as zoning. With Daniells, Kemp, Wagner to return Peckers will need quite a few work transfers before September to match the Roosters.

I was in Kimba during the week and suggested to some locals that they can take back their Tasman players whenever they want, however I was told after the trail of destruction left in Kimba after their last visit they weren't welcome back!

I heard they were not welcome at a lot of places

Edited. Bad call guys.

Lincoln City undefeated on Sat, a 16 goal win in their opening fixture, before a three goal win over Districts in their second.

Districts lost both games, about one goal against GF, then by the above against City.

GFFL beat Districts (as above), and won by I believe 107 points against KI, who were scoreless.

KI and Far West lost both games.

Eastern Eyre won one or two.
Mid West won one, lost one.

Should be:
Linc City (favourites) vs GFFL
Eastern Eyre vs Mid West
Lincoln Districts vs Far West
KI sucking piss all day.

My arse! City will beat them with ease

Opening ceremony and rising of the flags was a debacle LDS. I am not going to comment any more or I will offend several people

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Mid West went back to back with victory in the 2012 Port Adelaide Magpies Cup today.

Highlight was one lad from Far West, who won the game off his own boot in the second half

Stace is playing ok but yeah, they sure miss all the guns who departed after the gf. Mick was a good solid workhorse and I was just wondering how he was getting on over there.
