Bugger that!!!

"Linked to" or "interested in" doesn't necessarially mean they would be prepared to offer a great deal for him.

He's not played many games for us this year so right now he is a fringe, 25 year old AFL player with a history of injuries. I don't know what that would equate to in the market but I reckon it would be at the low end given the trade value of other players of similar standing.

It might be a case of the Crows taking whatever they can get for him. Had he left after 2009 it would have been a whole lot different.

I meant bugger reading into anything the chipwrapper suggests.

Are you seriously suggesting Neil Craig gave Tambling a three-year deal?

he signed a new three year deal in his last year at Richmond and the crows took on that contract

I don't think i would play him from now on.

Far too much disruption to the team.

Just trying to keep expectations on Knights' trade value realistic

Not that Sorry Dude really said what he thought Knights was worth

Probably shouldn't have quoted anybody at all!

Ottens and Knights could get a good trade but Tambling nothing much.

I would be dissapointed if he goes because he hasnt delivered on his potential which he was paid very well for. Otten was great first year but hasnt been the same since his knee, Knights has had one good year and is injury prone and a little slow and Tambling has been a dud for both us and Richmond.

I would love to see a guy like Otten say, I am not in the team and I am going to get back in through hard work and form! As soon as it gets tough for spots guys want out rather than work to get back in.

So you'd rather see him exhausting valuable salary cap coin to deliver sub-standard results for even longer. He's no rookie, he's 25 and approaching 100 games and now has the concussion issue in the back of his mind every contested ball.
I've always liked the guy and what he 'could' bring to the table but I've failed to see any consistency in his game.
He should be a ruck/ forward with the athleticism of Dean Cox yet he's pigeon-holed as a tall forward that averages 1.8 goals per game with a 58% accuracy rate.

Not worth it IMO.

No not at all, I would like to see him repay what he has been given by the club, got a massive salary for not doing anything better than anyone else, I would love to see him stay for less. That is not going to happen. He was paid big money on potential and potential alone. He only got the money he did because of the expansion clubs and to entice him to stay, Brisbane will have the money to entice him back to QLD next year, (I didn't realize that Fevola was currently still their highest paid player). At the end of the day it is now a business and if I was offered such money to leave my employer and go to a competitor I would take it. If I did however, I would be escorted out of the building at a minutes notice. I would love to see it put to bed and he say that he is or isnt going, kind of feels like he is going but holding out to keep a slim chance of playing in a GF, if the Crows were to pull something out and get there.

I've been a little out of the loop with this stuff but reading what Brent Reilly had to say on the Tippett matter in Thursdays Tiser suggests Tippett is all but gone.

Its clear what came out of last fridays meeting. Nobody ws ever going to come out and say Kurt is going but you know he is still going to play finals with us. Bah the supporters would eat him alive.

He'll play finals and then he is gone.

As much as the AFC woudl like to just piss him off, they need him as part of the forward line setup. When he plays deep he causes problems for tall defenders. And you guys need this to make an impact in september. Like it or not you cant just piss him off.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

As has been said, I'm sure he's gone but I really don't care.
At his best - he's a very good player - he's a half million dollar a year player and not a cent more.

Apparently tippet has purchased a house in gold coast
So if that's true I think it's fairly obvious what's gonna happen.

Unfortunatly he is gone, another talent we have put 3-4 years into to leave and go home.

I would say Noble and co would already be negotiating with the QLD sides. Both teams will be after him so highest bidder would win you would think so confident we can get decent compensation.

2009 I would have been a bit more worried if he was talking of leaving more than now. From the chances he has received this year, has not shown much for supporters to be really upset about if he was to leave. Got a few kids coming through which are more than capable of filling the void, and if he was to stay he may find it even harder to get in to the starting 22.

Harder to find his way in to the 22?
You have got to be kidding. Having tex roaming around the 40 to 50 and tippo who is in the top 2 contested marks in the game is what the Crows need

dont know if i believe it, but rowey reckons he is now linked with a huge endorsement deal with Toyota.
time will tell.

He apparently already has 2 houses up there he uses as investment properties.

Twitter rumour had him buying a house in Sydney last week.
