it has been confirmed that latest list was sent out because it was not accurate for multiple clubs. Some players who have been playing for years weren't on there and doesn't mean they never filled out paperwork

Both pitches? What a disgusting act. Really makes it hard for the cricket this weekend. Any chance of it being repaired before saturday?

Mabye both A grade moved to sunday and then double up globe, and teams will have to suck it up and play at port. You cant tell me that the clubs who voted against port oval would rather play at Pirie west than there

have to agree, Pirie west is not suitable. Bowlers run Ups dangerous, pitch too skinny, covering ordinary, too small, and last time I cut off a boundary, took 4 overs to remove the bindies.

Strykers wouldn't mind a Port game. Lovely outfield, value for shots.

Three ovals are being used for combined games on sat. Recorder says both A's are on sun, one at port one at memorial. "suck it up?"

Sorry Big stack was talking about the B grade teams that voted against playing at port oval to suck it up and play at the best ground in port pirie. I wasnt talking about the A grade if thats what you thought

Very good point about strykers though. SFR85 if you dont mind playing at Port why did you vote not too. Not that risdon are complaining about getting maximum games there :)

Pirie West pitch is not too narrow. It actually forces the bowlers to bowl at the stumps a little more, its ridiculous you can bowl 3 down the leg side in one over and not be called for a wide.

Sure the oval is small but its the same for both teams.

Run up is fine for us b grade scrubbers.

Strykers chose not to play at Port for financial reasons however next season we are interested in more games there. Did anyone just drive past Port Oval and see Johnnie Cochran walking in with a Risdon player?

Who and who?

Johnnie L Cochran, Jr.[1] (October 2, 1937 – March 29, 2005) was an American lawyer best known for his leadership role in the defense and criminal acquittal of O. J. Simpson for the murder of his former wife Nicole :o
