Beat me to it. Well played. =D>

Its forecast to still be 39c at 6pm.

Extremely modified or no training isn't going to kill your finals chances.

However, doing time trials might kill a player.

Think about it.

Exactly. Been training in the heat for years and years and common sense prevails. Lots of water and then more water.

Train at the beach or limited long distance running or just ball work with running involved. Hardly rocket science.

Beach not the safest turn your minds back a few years ago to the South Adelaide lad who collapsed whilst training at the beach with the team and fell into a comma, which was the catalyst fit the SANFL policy

Common sense doesn't always prevail. Training at the beach is no different to training anywhere else. It's still just as hot - the only difference is you get to go for a swim afterwards.

Long distance running in this heat?

Fine if you're a professional athelete used to training in such conditions- probably not so good for your average amateur footy player

Went down to Semaphore beach tonight for a look. Noticed Pooraka, Mawson Lakes and Glenunga training there. Not sure if it was a last minute thing for Glenunga as they only had about 14 there.
