[quote="moses"]Just drive past Smithfields oval on my way home from the river......WTF???Looks like a new sprinkler system has been laid......trenches everywhere. Would expect to see a few players going down with a few knees and ankles over the second half of the year on that deck.

Are they playing any games there at all in the second half of the season?

Matt Francis from Mitchell Park cleared to Flinders Uni. Nice initiation for him at Smithfield.

It happens every year, they take the opportunity that is the least disruptive to the season and sort out the irrigation I think.

The oval has had work this week and will today have a final going over by the council and the contractor
to ensure it is good for the game on tomorrow.

Food for thought......

Looking at the tipping, everybody has picked the same teams.

Can there be an upset & if so, which game?

No, but Henley are on the move and have a good record over Angle Vale and The Farmers will need to bring their best game cos Flinders Pk are good in the wet on their slushpit.

Henley would have to turn around more than 20 goals on the first round, they look as if they are stirring but that it a lot to make up.

We know we've got a hard one, FP are certainly not being taken for granted. We are looking forward to the challenge.

Surely Flinders are some sort of chance. They beat them the first time around and the inclusion of Matt Francis is a good acquisition. He did win the div3 res association medal last year. Should add a bit of grunt to there mids!

I would of thought this was a 50/50 game

Well henley do hav a Red, Rump & Rock night tonight so therell be some pretty hungry boys out there looking to sink their teeth into somethin

Flinders Uni could go close, but with Smithfield looking to execute some massive handstands today the panthers may glitterize the crabs

if a cgrade side is gonna beat ingle farm, flinders park could be the team to do it 2013

Flinders and Smithfields best results have been at home and their worst away. I am thinking it is 6-7 goal home ground advantage today.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.
