The club will then be open afterwards for everyone to go back to (let’s face it – where else would he have wanted it), so everyone can have a bite to eat, a drink or two and share some of the great memories that “The Egg” has left us all with.

Billy, you will be sadly missed. I can't imagine walking into the club and not seeing you there. As Max wrote; Some of the Champions of Footy don't need medals or premierships to be admired by all. I think that says it all.
Will miss you mate.

Great bloke who was a true clubman. Will be sorely missed.

Sincere condolences to Billy's family and the Morphettville Park Football Club.

Billy was a true gem, the sort of bloke that builds a club and provides the backbone to keep it going - yet is so self-effacing he stays in the background and shuns the glory he should get.

Things won't be the same without Billy. It's a huge loss to MPFC, the league, and football in general. There's not enough heart-and-soul football people around like Billy and sadly now there's one of the best gone.

Vale Billy. You have inspired many of us to do a little bit more, I hope your memory will continue to do so.

23 years is a long time, lets hope we can do it. To all you Roo supporters out there, lets get down to South Adelaide, shout, scream and yell and help the boys get over the line. Then back to the club for one big night.

To all SFL member clubs.

Vale: Roger Manual

Roger has been a hugh part of both Morphett Vale and Morphettville Park Football Club for many years
A life member at The Roos, Roger sady passed away Friday afternoon after a short illness.

Roger played a hugh part in the Southern Trainers Association for many year, holding many different positions over the years at
club and Association level.
A genuine bloke who so enjoyed helping all players from all clubs, enjoyed a good laugh, a Port and great banter.

R.I.P great man
