The marquee will be on the Dog Track in front of the old greyhound grandstand (currently off-limits thanks to Gawler Council). It's pretty good viewing from there, we had our sposnsor's day marquee in exactly the same spot earlier this year...

Nobby etc. had already booked the Dog Box out for BLG-Related activities...

Let me guess, free grog & free lunch for the Directors

Goes without saying doesn't it? They would be some of the highest paid "volunteers" in world sport on a ratio of work done to perks received. They would even rival the SANFL Community Football Board

Any news on the count?

I suppose Days that if you get into enough of them then you'll eventually end up winning one. Surprised that there has been no talk on this forum about GC's come from behind win on the weekend. Would be the exact opposite if they lost?

So to this weeks game - any early predictions?

Why are you surprised then?

Umm by the way you still havnt won a prelim for a long time, is it 7 you have lost in a row? I was more alluding to the fact that if you don't play in the prelim you can't lose it

Would expect Barossa to bounce back and earn another crack at you guys

Take it easy Days, your getting a bit sensitive in your old age and shape - my point was that I'm surprised that no-one has discussed the game on the weekend which is unusual, given that nobody gave GC a chance of winning the game (which is fair enough given Barossa's form over the season). I would have thought that as most of the so-called experts on this forum would have considered the result as an upset, then it would be a topic of conversation?

Settle down, settle down. These forums aren't for discussing games in general but passing on poorly verified rumours and shit slinging.

Well done, Gawler Central by the way.
Will Kingy get up for the big one?

As you rightly suggested had Centrals lost the forum would've been all over it.
Winning tends to shut people up.

As there is no one from Barossa on here, to suggest they may go out in straight sets would be a waste of time ;)

When it comes down to it if you're not from the 3 clubs left there is little interest.
Tanunda have won their 4 of the last 5 and played in 5
Barossa won 3 of the last 7 played in 5, it's all a bit boring
Centrals well it was just more fun when you were losing prelim's. With all due respect nobody want's to see Centrals win.

There's more interest over on the cricket forum

Dogs gave Tanunda a lesson today.
Should be a belter next week, would be surprised if Barossa didnt try something to curb Mercer, if he kicks 8 again the Tiges will win, hold him to 4 or 5 and the Dogs will claim the flag.
Next week
A Grade - Centrals v Barossa
B Grade - Centrals v Barossa
U17 1/2's - South v Central
U15's - Angaston v Barossa
Fair effort by Barossa and Central to have 3 grades in the GF.
With only 4 clubs represented on the day will the attendance be down?
Good luck to all

Two best sides for the year have made the GF.
For mine Gawler Cental would have to go in favourite.
Good weather home ground and fresh from a week off.

I don't know RR, it will be just like a Centrals home game, do they get many to them?
