So you are saying you would rather replace a coach that is still in his position before you filled a vacant coaching position?

Turns out that he's not travelling to Melbourne at all and is obviously making Norwood his #1 priority this week, even if it prejudices his chances of getting an AFL gig. Until reading this I'd thought Norwood's chances of keeping him for 2014 were about zero, so the story is good news in the sense that there is still a prospect he may stick around.dedja wrote:Well it's never been all about him has it?

If some AFL clubs are offering their assistant coaches $160k at full tote, and sometimes halving it to $80k, it turns out that being a SANFL senior coach is a more attractive proposition than I would have thought.
