Good effort!
Kilburn would be expected to go through B2 undefeated.

I agree with you both, we wanted to be A4. but required 2x2 day sides before ATCA would let us, but we didnt have the commitment mostly from work for our B grade to be a 2 day side. so to have a second side had to be one dayers, there for ATCA wouldnt let us be in A4, hoping to reslove this next season

Yeah, you've been pushing for it for a while.
Interesting that the turf use the no B-grade rule against you.
I would have thought they were more interested in an even comp rather than watching Matty Justice taking another 40 wickets and belting 300 runs...
When you have 4 of the top 5 bats in the grade, including 1, 2 and 3, it would suggest the Turf should take note!!!

We were surprised and disappointed we all wanted to go higher to see how we faired, they used gepps x as an example and basically said they didn't want another team in the A grades with no b grade to support it

So we will try again next year to meet there requirements

Mate Penfield went through the same thing, relegated to C3 due to lack of players/teams and then got moved up to B3 after going undefeated one season. Then we got a second 2 day side and still had to work our way through the grades by promotion only, no assistance and we are in A3 this season, even after they threw in an extra grade in A4 that we had to work through. So good luck but I don't like your chances of being pushed through the grades on just having a good team, as other sides will not step aside easily for you to take their spot in a higher grade

It was ATCA that told us we will be in A4 with a second 2 day side, not the other way round. We always planned to nominate for A4 regardless, that was there reason for not putting us there, they gave us a deadline to put in a second 2 day side and we couldnt get it, so taking the ATCA's word for it. Other wise we will happily work our way up like every one else
