Didn't look at it at all Slots so you must be hearing alot of dribble from your mates down there, get use to it though its very common.
I'm surprised you have put your hand up to assist a person you have often slagged

The information i got came from someone at the Port football club, not Seaton.

So what is the gossip on Iggies? In years gone by they have recruited well and found a good blend of old and young? What does 2014 promises and do they have the ability to play a big part in the September action? Must have plenty of depth given their dominance in the Ressies?

I just got a message from a former poster who reckons Charlie M has gone back to Gawler Central.

Not sure if he's having a lend or if it's true.

Not a mass exodus at all. We have lost a few players as we and every club does every year. Hopefully we can sign a few players to cover these losses. We just cant compete financially with country clubs. All is on track down at chic land with the signing of greg phillips as coach and players ready to hit the track with in the next 2 weeks.

Pearce, Molyneux, Howson, whelan, Galbraith gone. Expect to see parks, K, B and C leave in good time.
Pressler to golden grove. Kilburn are dust.

Smitheram i heard has accepted the Seaton job. Might be a good thing as a clean out looks on the cards!

I heard a twist has hit this story. A players revolt has seen Smitheram ousted already out the job and Paul Marshall named new A Grade Coach with Matt Webber as his Assistant at Seaton??? Things that make you go hmmmm

I spoke to a couple Seaton A graders this afternoon, and they had no knowledge of a player revolt. Have heard that they didn't get Smitheram accross the line for whatever reason, and so he has decided to stay as Footy Director at PDFC. Probably the best for all parties after seeing ITC's response last week. For your clubs sake I hope not everyone shares his views.

Apparently Smitheram couldn't get any assistants to come with him to Seaton ( not surprising ) so he passed up the opportunity to coach & yes stuck with Port Districts as a Football Director after alot of pressure from one of his clubs hyreichy.
So we now see Dingles take the reins at Seaton  which is no doubt an interesting but not surprising appointment considering InTheChairs response that players will not be happy if Smitheram gets the job.
Smitheram i believe made the right decision as theirs nothing worse than having an undermining person working within behind your back, as your on a hiding to nothing, trust me i should know, ITC's post was a perfect example of what was to be expected if Smitheram chose to take the job.
I say let them do it their way, as that way has clearly shown to be effective in minor rounds in the past but not so effective when it comes to finals.
Remember InTheChair & Seaton don't play to win premierships

Matty Whelan is the new coach at Brahma.
As for a couple going else where I'm sure most clubs would expect a couple to move on each year but we are confident of recruiting a couple also.
