nice one BP.

Lonergan wants 40k to play. Good luck.
I think Cennals have got two ex Brisbane Lions. Sorry no names yet.
McIntyre to stay at Sturt. Will not help the debt demolition. Sturt will have a fair side one one would think.

Tom Collier would have helped with the sales pitch. I think Aaron Cornelius is one the Dogs were keen on...

I heard he was over the line at the Dogs, from a pretty good source...

West also courting Tambling and I believe that the other Tuck from Richmond has signed with Goodwood Saints.

My speculation is: (Nothing official from any source)

Boyd to Western Australia
Batsanis back to parade?
Tuck at Westies not SAAFL

Boyd wont leave SA, I wouldn't think. Too entrenched in his building business, which set up with his brother, who he is very, very close with...

Batsanis wont come back to SA, I wouldn't think. Went back home to Vic to be closer to family. Rumoured to be leaving Port Melbourne to be playing local footy with his brother in Melbourne...

Tuck (Shane) linked with Goodwood Saints but I would suspect he will sign with the Bloods to play with his brother Travis...

A lot of brotherly love in that post !!!

I think we will see Batsanis back at the Parade next year. Will probably be a couple of other VFL players joining him

Good work by Port to get them. But anyone who believes that they've signed on for $400 per SANFL league game, $100 if they play reserves, and not a cent more, also believes in fairies and pots of gold at the end of the rainbow.

As a bare minimum, a teensy bit of honesty and transparency as to the rules under which this competition operates, would be no bad thing. (Up until the middle of 2013, there were real SANFL clubs who copped harsh sanctions for the smallest technical breach of those rules.) Not likely, I know.

Just to pick up on this point, if we were to buy this as being fair dinkum, what would sway them to stay with a club that is not focused solely on the SANFL Flag in 2014.
Any of the 8 SANFL club's would double their pay to have them, so what is it? Loyalty.... maybe but it's 2014 and it's all about " Show me the Money".
The facilities for rehab and training are a huge advantage, the coaches are all full time. Access to Doctors for injuries asap and access to sponsors for a career during and after footy is a major advantage for a young lad in a city with high unemployment.
These guys made the only choice they could have, an offer they couldn't refuse.
Just don't feed us that $400 a game is all they get!

Re: Ports signings.

Raikiwasa is Ports AFL trainee. Not playing for them equals no job.

Summerton will stay as he is the only player with a contract that is still in place. He will fill that mature age leadership spot.

Sam Gray is in the draft and will most likely get drafted. I'm guessing Port will and hence the announcement.

I also undersatnd that Luke Sharrad and Tom Gray will sign as well.
