Likewise.
Politicians kissing babies for good luck,
TV preachers sell salvation for a buck.
You don't need no golden cross to tell you wrong from right,
The world's worst murderers were those who saw the light.

Can't stand the slimy prick. Sounds like a sleazy salesman grinning from ear to ear through every spiel of BS he offloads, knowing the sheep are hanging on every word.

this is a politics thing but needs to be posted here -

Watching Paul murray live at the moment on Sky news ( political comments and reviews ) . The show has just announced that when a party loses the federal election, the plates/bowls/utensils and cutlery that they use in parliament and function rooms for their term as federal members is thrown out, in the bin or sent where ever. And it costs the tax payer $80,000 dollars to replace!! This is done when a party loses government every time!! . What a load of crap!!!!!

No wonder the country is struggling. friggen $80,000 to replace plates. .....

I've often given a cash tip at the start of a meal or event (like a wedding) to ensure good service.

ie - slipped a waiter at a recent wedding I attended a $20 at the start of the night and told him I dont want the jugs or champagne bottles on this table to be empty at any stage. Sure enough, great night had by all and didnt have to call for a jug or bottle all night! :D

Like you, TSG, I usually leave a tip if the service is ok even though I think our "culture" still doesn't require it.
PAFC. Forever.

I don't mind the idea of a voluntary tip if I feel the need, but I don't like being expected to tip, as I've had in Melbourne and Sydney in the past
