Some clubs still do not pay any player a set $ figure per game, even in this day and age.

Just wondering how Elizabeth are looking ? Heard they have lost a lot of blokes but would expect Payney to bring a few with him?

Not that it is any of my business, but I don't understand why he wouldn't want to test himself at a higher club. Not saying he would/should have stayed at the Lodge, but thought someone of his talents wouldn't have gone down divisions to play football.

He will absolutely dominate for Elizabeth this year. Good luck to him and would expect another 70 plus goal season.

Ivan novosel training with greenacres. Fair pick up if he signs.

Not true, spoke to him Saturday at Festa. Cash is being thrown but he will stay loyal.

Apparently Mawson Lakes are pretty confident of keeping him...

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

In fairness Browny- Ivan has been incredibly loyal to Mawson Lakes over the years (i know for a fact he has been offered coin to go elsewhere but has stayed put). Nothing is confirmed anyway- I just heard through a mate that plays at Greenies they have got him training so will see what comes of it. Wouldnt suprise me one bit to see him stay loyal to the saints though.

Heard last night of a couple of handy recruits to North Haven for 2014 with the return of Matty Eagles and former Rosewater and Paskies forward C. Mattner.
If NH are to keep their squad from last season which were not far away from finals, with the addition of these 2 guns they should be pushing Glenunga (who have also apparently recruited well) for flag favortisium.
Yes i know its only December !!

My mail is that they want both guns but may only be firing 1 gun! The other gun is yet to be holstered!

It's awesome to have Eagles back, we need him, the club chased him and got our man. Cohen with a new born child it's best for him to be closer to home so getting him is very handy aswell.
