Here I'll admit I haven't got a clue how this season will pan out as it is too early for me to have built up any perspective yet.
I won't give in to fantasy and seriously suggest:

Crows
Port
Freo
West Coast
Brisbane
Gold Coast
GWS
Sydney
daylight

But I'd love to see it happen just to upset the "AFL" administration and the Melbourne media... ;)

There was one pretty close to that back when port and Brisbane were dominating, minus GC and GWS of course

Yes, I was hoping for no VIC. team in the finals that year but I think one managed to sneak in.

Wouldn't upset the AFL at all except for the smaller finals crowds and loss of coin, would just upset those that follow real football clubs with the exception of Swans fans.

The loss of coin was what I was thinking of there to make them squirm.
But I'd really enjoy watching the Melbourne media try to cope.

It has to do be. It can't just pander to two teams.

So Port isn't a real football club according to Wedgie.
If that's true, what does it say about Geelong who were the first "club" to lose to Port in the AFL? R3 1997 for those with short memories....

The Power has and always will just be a money losing propped up franchise, the real Port Adelaide Football Club that changed its name to the PAMFC is dead now, replaced by a Power reserves. I do remember the 2007 Grannd Final if that helps. ;)

And I still fondly remember the 1989 SANFL GF as well. Your point?

And I still fondly remember the 1905 GF as well. It was your point and you don't get it?
So 1997 is relevent but 2007 isn't and 1989 is relevent but 1905 isn't?
Clutching at feeble straws my friend. 2007>1997 1905>1989 I win.
