The only problem with Matty Wade is his wicked keeping. Dreadful.

It is beyond comprehension how Hartley isn't around the place. He is clearly the best gloveman in the country, Haddin included. They say his batting isn't good enough but he has averaged more than the wonder boy Marsh in each of the last three seasons.

He's not looking too bad ATM.
Could replace the current test No.3 no issue.
Warner comes back into 50/50 side and he bats 3 there as well.
Oooo rooo Watto.

You are kidding? Not looking too bad at the moment? A couple of fifties in one dayers against a very avearge and worn out English attack doesn't cancel out the fact that he has been playing first class cricket for 13 years and has only made 8 hundreds. It's amazing how people get seduced by a couple of knocks in limited overs cricket and ignore the glaringly obvious that the guy has never been able to score in first class cricket. Hopefully his latest injury rules him out and a bloke who actually deserves a spot gets picked instead. You know, someone who has actually performed at first class level at some point.

That man Shaun Marsh is created what I consider an interesting situation
Fit enough to play the 20/20 final
Makes a very nice 63 not out off 43 balls in a Grand Final

He was considered the better option when the initial squad to SA was selected than Phil Hughes
He has now got some match fitness

Should he be sent to South Africa ?

I say GONG he should never have been picked in the first place

Fit enough for a t20. Fit enough for 5 day test match?

You are right on face value
But
He was selected to go over b4 the 20/20 series started
This game proves he has recovered form his injury
Ethically should he be re-chosen ?

Selectors obviously thought he wasn't fit for the tour. End of story.

Can I have what you are smoking?
If Hogg or Hodge are picked for the WC it will show exactly what a circus this comp is. Im a firm believer that you must be in a state squad to represent the country not just some random who only wants to play a couple of games a year when he feels like it.

There is no state squad for T20. BBL is the equivalent and he's played pretty well in it, hasn't he?

We should be picking guys with state or CA contracts not mercenaries who are just playing for coin. Guys like Muirhead and Zampa deserve a crack before Hogg

I'd rather keep everyone in the shield and not go to the tee ball world cup at all.

Yes but are they good enough NOW to be considered the 2nd best Limited overs spinners Australia has had ?

20/20
Hogg is a sensational 20/20 bowler , world class
Hes had several BBL batters bamboozled in the local comps
And to do this at his age is simply amazing

ODI
Brad George Hogg
Is the 2nd best spinner , in my opinion to play for Australia , in ODI's
I also consider him to be in the top 10 ODI bowlers to have played as well
He is that good

International
5 wkts
306 runs
61.60 average
49.20 s/rate
7.51 eco

He has now matured and is ready to take on the world Squids ;)
Had not realised his International form was that bad

20/20 career
91 wkts
2014 runs
22.13 ave
19.84 strike rate
6.69 eco

As I have stated his overall 20/20 record is excellent
In the BBL he is a star
And deserves to be picked for the World Cup on that form
