I,ll throw Dogs and Dees below them as well and I have them around 13th/14th. Got nothing against Brisbane and they have 2 juniors from our club but I don't think they are on the way up yet.

The Dogs will go a lot better than that IMO. Starting to develop a pretty good midfield now.

Wouldnt say you wont play finals Nuggety- nobody in their right mind would have picked Port to be finalists in 2013 but alot can happen when a young group is buoyant and gaining confidence with a new gameplan which they are adapting to. If the dogs have luck on the injury front they may just make an appearance in the 8 this season.

Positions 5-12 will be hotly contested this season and there are going to be some unlucky teams miss out on finals action, who's seasonal performances would have justified a top 8 spot in seasons gone by.

set the expectations low and then if we make it then its a bonus...

need our forward structure to get solid. i'd like to see tom campbell clunking em at CHF, Crameri floating and kickong 40-50 and Jones getting some consistency, Higgins getting through a year would be nice and griffen winning a brownlow...

They missed out on the finals by a kick last year, but they're not on the way up?
Everyone's written them off because of the 'go home five' but those guys, apart from Yeo, were hardly knocking on the door for selection.
Brisbane's best 22-25 is capable of reaching the 8.
If we have a bad run with injury, then I can see us dropping away severely though.

We had more than half of our best team out last night and they were just about all of our top end players.

All I'm saying is don't write them off yet.

No love for the Demons? Didn't see any of it, but apparently you win a NAB challenge and you are a top 4 or finals bound at least.

Only saw the last 2 minutes and the very second I turn it over some Richmond spud stubs his toe and kicks it 5m across the ground and Melbourne kick the winning goal.
Melbourne will definately be better than last year but thats not hard, still close to bottom 4

West Coast will take them to the cleaners, Saints aren't without a chance either.
