Tyler works out there on a weird roster aswell. is it maybe possible he plays for both clubs, depending where he is on a Saturday, with some sort of a special work-permit clearance?

But yes, big brother Joel plays for Hornridge also.

What is your club doing to improve in 2014? Is it an injection of players or pure development?

Is this years coach staying on? Would think some experienced players are a must as well because there is only so long that the "developing youngsters" can keep getting hammered both physically and on the scorboard before they may want to look elsewhere.

Having not seen a game this year i cannot comment on what type of players or positions they require to boost their side.

Hopefully the club gives the coaching staff the cash to be able to recruit some players that are worth it to help them go forward

I honestly wouldn't know, having not been involved directly with any club at a local level for about 3 years I couldn't say an amount. The club I was at last, who were reasonably successful, had players on $50-$200 a game but I understand that's substantially less than what gets thrown around for blokes who coaches have never even seen play but go on the "reputation" of the player or how much they talk themselves up.

So unfortunately I can't just say a figure. I just hope, which I'm sure they are doing is that almost everyone is on roughly the same amount as possibly there is higher possibly overpaid players aren't doing a lot to improve on field success and this can sometimes create disharmony.

This is just from my personal experience and not knowing basically anything about the Aldinga Football Club.

I'm assuming Pushback you are obviously involved closely somehow. So what figure do you think?

But I guess if they are saving money now by not paying "imports" and just genuinely developing kids and ride out the bad times then they may have some spare $ in a few years to get some top up players to push finals and have more success.

Their junior program is obviously quite good with improving teams over the past couple of years but it just seems year after year the senior sides are poor

Looking at the clearance page - plenty of OUTS and very few IN'S for the sharks...

seems to be the team that's going backwards
