Reynellas Under 16s have a lot more numbers this year including my lad so we'll be right on Sundays but I'm not sure where that will leave Hackham, it was a really good combo last year with a great contribution from both clubs.

$hoes have been circling Noodles for a few years.

I see that Elijah Ware has a clearance pending to the Kowree Naracoorte league on the list of clearances

Elijah has signed to play for Border Districts with his girlfriends Brother who he played with at Meningie before Motlop came along.

Looking at the clearance page some significant losses to the SFL, surely they would be concerned with the loss of quality players to the league?

Seems the mass exodus from Noarlunga was correct.......Despott, Thompson, Fry, Bowd, Grantham, Landorf, Matheson, Sargood, Smart, with retirement of Golding, Schultz, Peach. Are Minns and Mott still training at Glenelg?

Cove have lost Gabb, Hare, Bennett and Ramsey. No clearance for Vick is he staying at Cove?

Emus have lost Sampson x 3, Bennetts, and Hoffmann.

Towns have lost Parsons and Angove but picked up Gary Dean surprised he didn't return to Lonsdale.

Reynella have picked up Frick and McEntee

Hackham have a few inclusions including Bowd (pending clearance) and Christies have a few ins but don't know much about them.

The clearance is pending on the GSFL website.

OSB/Lonsdale has a few definite outs losing Martin Barber (back to the riverland) and Brendan Holliday (out for the year with a knee injury I believe).

Hackham to improve once again and keep climbing up the ladder? I know it's only early but Reynella are looking like the favourites for me.

According to the clearance page a few more OUTS for the shoes - Ridley and Tasker. Caudle off to Goolwa???
Vick is off to Goolwa with a few other major recruits! Some big OUTS for the cobras.
Quality players also returning to the Hills from HV.

A lot of very very good players leaving the SFL!

Disappointed for Minns/Mott that things didn't work out, quality ins for Noarlunga though.

Perhaps most of these players would like to have a realistic opportunity to either win a flag or add to the trophy cabinet........
At least it will make the umpiring closer to the standard of playing level

In general the umpires do a good job in the SFL given the resources they have. Perhaps if match payments for umpires in our league better reflected the dollars other leagues were paying we would be able to attract and then keep the better ones!

Only way to get good umpires is if the people complaining about how bad the umpires are, take up umpiring themselves. Especially the loud w@kers on the sidelines, they usually are the best coz they know everything. Unfortunately those people never take up umpiring coz they are too gutless.

Seems like all not happy at the valley - rumours that senior training numbers are well down and despite the fact that players have said they are playing some are yet to show. On average about 22 blokes for seniors training which includes the 18s.
Apparently there are some blokes that dont take too kindly to being yelled at - including one who I had been told was staying but as others predicted is heading back to Mt Lofty  . Hope the club looks at the reasons he left - big loss

I hear on the grapevine that the SFL are considering Noarlungas request for 21 player points for this season due to the number of players leaving ??

Not correct Vics!
Noarlunga has asked the league to review the points for 2014 as has a number of clubs but no numbers discussed.

New member to this forum. Good to see a dedicated SFL mob.

Getting down to the business end of pre season. Trial games booked in for any teams?

Only a matter of time before the glowing traits that had someone asked to leave one club were revealed
