Most sides seem to have more outs than ins at this point with lots of quality going from the league to others (esp KNTFL - $$$).
Hard to pick at this early stage but the Dees would be up there as favorites for mine.

Interesting observations about player movements FoD. Are we seeing the APPS "working", ie bottom to mid range A graders staying put, and top enders shopping for big bucks (too much for many clubs) . Interesting players presumably Adelaide based leaving GSFL to travel extra 3 to 4 hrs each weekend for their footy!
I'm hearing quite a number of clubs around the state really struggling to recruit this year.

Meningie did have one against encounter bay but they have now decided they don't need a trial before the first game, so unless that's not true then I'm pretty sure they don't.

Apparently Willunga have been further strengthened by the surprise return of club legend Matthew Thomas. Word has it, he just walked in off the street and wanted a game back at his old stomping ground. Will test out many teams with Steele, Thomas and Swingler floating around.

WOW I dont think Willunga recruit old over weight guys these days. I think they are going well enough for numbers.

Might make an appearance at the bar at some stage during the season tho. Hopefully catch a game u might be involved with.

That sure is a big in. Thought matt Thomas lined up for Richmond on the weekend but has obviously reassessed his career/life and decided to take a gig with the demons. I'm not surprised, we're probably paying him more than Richmond were able to offer. And he will cover the loss of brad haskett well, albeit not as influential but a decent player none the less

I think you will find that with all the turmoil Kilburn are going through. Lister decided against playing for them. Kilburn in all sorts of trouble. Could struggle to field 2 sides in div 3 this year.....

That's a MASSiVE signing for the Magpies. Lister is capable of kicking 100 goals in the GSFL given the right supply. He's a freak.

If Lister gets the right supply he'll kick 150 goals. One of the best I've seen in amateur footy.
