Great night at presentation night last night.

Congrats to JPeg on winning the association medal. Just reward for a gun player and a great kid.

Also well done to Toasty. And Troy on their presentation. It was fantastic

It has been streangely quiet in here all season, but hopefully GF week can get a bit of discussion going. I'm looking forward to this Sunday after being a spectator last season.
It looked like I was going to be a spectator once again yesterday until about 5 min remained in our game against Irish Australians. It was a really tight contest all day with IA holding the lead for much of the game. I think they may have led by as much as 6 or 7 with 10min left in the game. We were able to keep persisting and take our chances late in the game scoring 3 or 4 unders to hit the lead with only a few minutes remaining.
Hopefully we can find more than 16 players for this weeks game v Flinders. It will be interesting to see what side Flinders can pull together. We found out first hand a couple seasons ago that their finals side is completely different from their minor round side.

Bad luck to Na Fianna yesterday, going by the score it looks like it must have been a pretty good game v Onkas.
Really looking forward to watching the proper Mens Final. I'm sure it will be a great game to watch with the style of gaelic that both Western Ireland and Onkas play.

Id actually go as far as to say they have surpassed the old man as ball players. There is no way they will ever be as physical as the GinPeg who miss took my nose for the pill on Walkerville oval in 97 and dislocated a Victorians anus he hit him so hard in the 2002 Australasian championships. But both lads are genuine talents. I haven't seen Johnny play AFL yet but will get the opportunity this year for Plympton. Even as an opposition coach they are great to watch.

The thing that impresses me most is there attitude and respect. They fight like dogs during the game but have never been hard to find after a game for a hand shake or a chat. We obviously knocked them off in the semi in over time and both lads came straight over to me and shook my hand. Class acts indeed.

Gino was a freak, good at everything he did!!! Prick ;)
Johnny and Jordan are pretty much the same in the fact they can play anything... They both aren't as naturally as gifted as there dad. Johnny is a gun footballer, and Jordan is gun soccer player, however when Jordan dabbled in footy he was good at that too. And Johnny also mostly played soccer growing up and he obviously was good at that too... Guns. Known them since birth and they are outstanding individuals...

There is no point. Your posting stats that are incorrect. Your stats are a combination of league and Hannigan Cup and some of them are just straight out wrong. The absence of St.Patricks is your first error. The fact I played in a couple of Hannigan Cup final losses to the Gaels is another. The 93 final was punctuated by "Tickets Toothill" sizzling one past Brian Attenborough at the club room ends in front of hunfreds of rowdy Gaels. Flinders can testify to the fact they did not win the 92 Hannigan Cup. From memory that was also won by Mick Eaghans St.Pats managed by Vince McStraw.

I assume you play for Onkas so congrats on the win but your table has as much relevance as a fly in Darwin. There will be no arguing whilst a great deal of your stats are accurate a lot of it is also fictional. It doesn't bother me but I know it bothers a few others. Like I said there is no point arguing because plain and simple you were not there 20 years ago.

If it was titled Hannigan Cup winners since 99 and you include the 7 a side Hannigan Cup final in 99 as a legit title then yes it's more accurate. For the
Purpose of accuracy the 2007 title was won by the Titans. But at least the winners are correct since 99.

They didn't kill anyone and at least 4 of them have played for your club. I'm pretty sure people can talk about whatever they want on this site. They did win in 2007and did it by more than 5 goals. Whatever dumb shit they did they were the best team that year.

Yea was a really tight contest. Port lead the whole game but Flinders came home with a lot of momentum. I thought they were going to steal it at one stage. Really quick game; moving from end to end with minimal errors (particularly for 5th v 6th).
Hopefully both teams are still competing next year.
Good day at St Marys - the Mens Final was a quality game, enjoyable to watch without having a connection to either team as it always is.

There is a cup actually, and there were medals for apparently the first time too. Was a bit strange that the umpire got presented with one too haha

Yeah, for finishing 5th in a 7 team comp. I mean congrats and all but really they are barely worth the $8 the association payed for them. What's next participation awards

How's the State team trainings going?

Have 3 coaches been appointed and are all teams into full swing with 6 weeks to go?
