Also heard Heccies got up by about 6 goals over Para Hills and GG were within 3 goals of Modbury at 3/4 time. Don't quote me on either of those though

gg ended up losing by about 6 goals in the end but were 2 down at 3/4 time. Was a solid hitout with gg missing a fair few of their taller players. Had some blokes play in the reserves as well so understandably ran out of legs in the last. Modburys skill level probaly out done them in the end as well. Modbury will be pretty strong this year.

Thanks to the Glenunga for the trial on Saturday.
Solid hit out for both clubs in both games--all the best to the Glenunga footy club for the season.

How are all the sides travelling a week out from round 1. Are most clubs playing a trial game this weekend? Pooraka are playing Gumeracha up at Gumeracha on saturday.

All Div 4 clubs should beware of Shane Scudds this year. He has dropped a staggering 40kgs and looking a million bucks. Awesome effort by the big fella and im tipping 130 goals from him this year.....

I think the coach will be on the war path if any players go to the showdown instead of playing the last trial

I thought that Greenies are traveling pretty well, having recruited some quality players. Do you honestly think they will be towards the bottom of the Div or do you have something against Greenacres personally?

Yeah Scuddsy is looking a lean, mean, fighting machine.........he has lost a stack of weight in the past 5 months. The last time he looked this good was 2008 when he kicked 100+ goals and GG won the flag ;) ;)

Im pretty sure he is talking about Greenies and CBC from last season, saying that Glenunga will be better than the two sides that got relegated from div 4 from last season.

You guys would have to be favourites in Div 4 this year Hefty, very strong midfield and couple of handy forwards! Brock Castree will run a muk in Div 4!

We have picked up some more than handy mids over the pre-season to add to the mix of players from last season. We were given the favs tag this time last year and look how that ended up for us. But in saying that we would hope to have a decent crack at it this year.

I reckon he may have been heavier than now in 08 too. Massive effort to drop 40kgs in 5 months not just for his footy but himself!
