Yeah Scuddsy is looking a lean, mean, fighting machine.........he has lost a stack of weight in the past 5 months. The last time he looked this good was 2008 when he kicked 100+ goals and GG won the flag ;) ;)

I reckon he may have been heavier than now in 08 too. Massive effort to drop 40kgs in 5 months not just for his footy but himself!

Sounds like the Jenny Meth diet ;)

Asking for protection of asking for an explanation on some of the mind blowing free kicks payed against? Only want consistency.

But it's ok to scrag him cos he is so much bigger than everyone else. I guess that's fair.

Errr, he's certainly big enough to look after himself, I'd be embarrassed if I was him and saw that happen!

That's my point. Asking for protection? Lame, and a false accusation.
I think it's fair to ask and hold umps to consistency though

I thought that Greenies are traveling pretty well, having recruited some quality players. Do you honestly think they will be towards the bottom of the Div or do you have something against Greenacres personally?

Im pretty sure he is talking about Greenies and CBC from last season, saying that Glenunga will be better than the two sides that got relegated from div 4 from last season.

yeah sorry Haynzy i based my opinion on last years Greenie and CBOC side both did struggle but had there moments but didnt greenies just get rolled by ingle farm on the weekend i think you will find greenies have lost more top end they what they have picked up this year also

No worries. I actually lost track of what div I was posting in for a second

Did greenies get rolled by Ingle farm on the weekend????

I saw the clearances and they lost probably 3 good players that I recognise Drewett, Hoskin and Chapman. Still seemed to have held onto their best players from last year though plus picked a couple more up.

hi just wondering if you can keep a eye out for our FF (scudds) the other team will target him and have in the past ....then up until half time he had 5 free kicks all in front of goal

then few weeks later i hear the same shit at greenacres exactly the same story thats first hand i dont lie and have no need to a giant asking for protection is a joke fact the umpires got sucked in a bigger joke

A few years ago Kurt Tippett was getting a rough ride for free kicks, particularly when it came to blocking his run and chopping the arms. As dubious as his goal kicking is and by no means would a set shot result in a major, It was frustrating watching it not get payed.

Then, in a press conference Sanderson made a subtle hint that he felt a few calls against Tippett we're being missed. He then want on to say he trusts the umpires will review the game and the contests and he looked forward to chatting to them about the interpretation of the rule so he could help coach his players more effectively. Next week Tippett starts getting the free kicks that were there in the first place.....

Dont think Scuddsy was ever reported/suspended at MFC. Doubt he would be near de registration.

He used to get a rough ride with the umps and pinged alot for purely being to strong 1 on 1 when the other bloke was moved easy off the ball.

I ask the umps about getting free kicks last year, just so I could touch the footy.

I should've had so many off the ball free kicks........ only coz I was never near the ball.

Can anyone tell us what happened with Alan Harvey? Looks like he's given Padthaway (or wherever he was going) the flick and has been cleared to Eastern Park...

Pooraka knocked off Gumeracha by about 6-7 goals in the second 3qtr game. Was quite hot and humid up there but good to have a last tune up before round 1

Pretty promising result.

Don't mean to be smart but it amazes me that a club of Golden Groves resources, facilities and junior structure can only be in div 4.
Should be a Div 2 club @ worst from my own outside point of view.
