Marlon Motlop was ruled ineligible to play for Port as a top-up as he played state league footy last year in the WAFL.

Echunga have sent a playing list for both the under 13's and 15's to the HFL and can fill both grades, junior numbers will be fine.

Then I would expect they would struggle to win games in the B grade. ............. I doubt this will be an issue going off the clearance website, it looks like Echunga have almost another side of ins this year!!!

Thought Ironbank wern't spending any $ this year?

Maybe 1200+ each per game plus a sign on isn't big money at the Thunderers?
According to these boys they only have to train once a week as well so it's a bloody good wicket they're on! Well done to Ironbank, going where at least one other hills club refused to go...

Classic Champ... didn't you have a go at getting Motlop, Pickett and finally secured Ware? Good players and Ware managed a premiership before he ca$hed out and ran.

Thanks Winger, appreciate the vote.
I'm slightly perplexed by your next comment though; are you saying its a bad thing that Echunga attempt to recruit and ultimately get out bid by other clubs?

Not bad but u were poking fun at Ironbank for throwing money at unreliable players when your guilty of doing the same thing, only difference being not all yours worked out.

Central Division - Round 1 Sat 5th April
Blackwood Vs Torrens Valley - just on Torrens Valleys OUT's alone I would say Blackwood by over 10 goals
Bridgewater Vs Lobethal - Lobethal by 7 goals
Ironbank Vs Hahndorf - It will be interesting to see how Ironbank perform under the new guidance, may be the closest game of the round Hahndorf by 2 goals
Mt Barker Vs Onka Valley - Mt Barker by 5 Goals
Uraidla Dist Vs Echunga - Interesting to see who actually comes in for Echunga? any key recruits etc. I would say they would want to put in a show being their first game back in the top division. But cannot see them coming close to Uraidla. Uraidla by over 7 goals.

Only time will tell
