Don't mean to be smart but it amazes me that a club of Golden Groves resources, facilities and junior structure can only be in div 4.
Should be a Div 2 club @ worst from my own outside point of view.

I concur. I played against them in 2000 and thought they would have gone a lot further by now.

Was a good feeling yesterday. Only a trial but we got a lot right. Was really happy with the running/fitness.

We have some great people in important positions off the field. We are becoming more and more professional every year. We have a goal and a timeline about getting to D2. Feel like we are on the right track.

We have had a Good amount of juniors get exposure to sanfl underage footy, and reserves but getting talented kids back to d4/5/6 footy is tough. Hopefully as climb the grades, we get more and more back.

Last year we played poorly in finals. Injuries hurt as a lot as well as losing our best player to league footy mid year. We were a shadow. Of our best 21 over the last month or so. Not an excuse, a explanation. Last year still hurts. We didn't give a good showing when it mattered. 2012 we ran into our bogey side in finals. Nuff said. In retrospect, if 2012 didn't end how it did, we wouldn't be where we are now culturally and personnel wise. I'm happy with how we are developing.

Be interesting to see how Kenliworth go? Heard they have lost a few premiership players from last season and up a division.

They have picked up alot more than they have lost going by their clearance page. Unless they had a few retirements?
