Good game between Hamley Bridge and Virginia yesterday.
Hamley in control for most of the game and about 7 goals up but innacurate kicking kept Virginia in the game. Virginia got ontop late in the third quarter and were all over Hamley in the last quarter. Hamley were down to on the bench and ran out of legs but held on for a 3 goal win.
New players in Dowdell, Stribling, Duncan and Oxenham were very good which allowed Zanandrea and Thatch to spend less time in the middle and more time in the forward line.

King, Griffiths, Matt Saunders, Troy Algar. Irrespective of the outs for Mallala, Two Wells completely outplayed them.

Mallala already making excuses. Seal X2??, no points left to accommodate 1 Seal which is why I believe they are at Jamestown. Two Wells had no Kahn Leighton, Nahthan Rose and Dylan Wise. Always a whinging bunch when they are rolled

So if King, Algar, Griffiths and Saunders were out for Mallala and Rose, Leighton and Wise were out for Two Wells then no wonder Two Wells won as they had 18 players to Mallala's 17.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Five points on Saturday at Ma-lala:
1. The first quarter was all Mallala and they missed easy chances to score heavily then. Scooter was missing big time.
2. Fiest still has it in spades for this comp.
3. Birchmore will win a mail medal in two-three years - can't believe he wasn't in the best.
4. There were more people at the ground for the junior colts than A grade.
5. First time I've ever seen TW have to hand out jumpers in Senior Colts, although I thought they played ok - should have let the game continue as is.

Also - I think PM#27 might have a spell for the next two games :?

Word on the street onsong is d. Wise to head back to two wells, one things for certain for any side with outs that can hold it's own against Mallala, who has been the bench mark or this competition as far as I can remember, is a plus.
I know Mallala had their own outs, however mallalas depth over the past 5 years has always been good.
No team that gets the points at the end of the day is going to complain about the win no matter who the opposition had missing.
