Bounce of the ball wrote:I know the Crows said they would get an extra 4000 but taking that spin and bs away it's a good crowd by North. If they were playing a real team with a reasonable supporter base ( say Glenelg) that is like a 6000 crowd.

But Glenelg fans don't travel to Prospect .... :D

Fair call.

Just looking at some of the stats, North would have to be pretty pleased with 133 points from 333 possessions. Way better conversion rate than anyone else over the round.

I kept commenting on the Disposal Stats over on the Roost. It sounded like North were very efficient with the ball.

What will the crowd be next time?
That's the important question. There'll be no novelty factor and by the time North meet them again, most supporters will have moved on from wanting to ridicule them.

The weather mightn't be that good next time round either, although this would be more likely to put off Crows fans than North ones.

I suppose on balance it's one match, against raw opposition too, but if North can keep that up they're going to be pretty hard to beat.
